What XQS actually is
XQS is a nicotine pouch brand made by Scandinavian Tobacco Group. The pouches are tobacco free and white, almost all of them are slim, and every can holds 20. What separates XQS from the rest of the shelf is the flavour work. Elderflower, sour cactus, wintergreen, chilli mango and butter toffee are not flavours most brands attempt, and XQS get them right more often than not.

Nothing XQS make is what we would call strong. If you want a pouch that hits hard, look at Pablo, Cuba or Siberia instead.
Reading the XQS names
XQS print words like Strong, X-Strong and Ultra Strong on their cans, and those words describe how cold the pouch feels, not the nicotine. The clearest example is the two Arctic Freeze cans: X-Strong and Ultra Strong are both 16 mg/g. What differs is the pouch weight, 0.6 g against 0.7 g, so the Ultra pouch holds 11.2 mg of nicotine and the X-Strong holds 9.6 mg. We rate both Medium. On our scale Ultra Strong begins at 50 mg/g and runs to 100, so read the number on the product page, not the word on the lid.
Where to start
If you have never used a nicotine pouch, Citrus Cooling at 8 mg/g is the easiest way in. Blueberry Mint is the one people come back for. If you already use pouches and want the cold, Arctic Freeze Ultra Strong is the coldest can in the range. And if you are here out of curiosity, Soft Toffee and Elderflower are the two nobody expects to like and plenty do.

How strong is XQS snus?
XQS comes in 8 mg/g and 16 mg/g. On the Snusmania scale that is Light and Medium. No XQS pouch is stronger than 16 mg/g.
Why is XQS Ultra Strong only Medium?
XQS use Ultra Strong to describe the cooling sensation, not the nicotine. The can holds 16 mg/g. Our Ultra Strong band starts at 50 mg/g.
What is the difference between Arctic Freeze X-Strong and Ultra Strong?
Same menthol flavour, same 16 mg/g. The Ultra pouch is heavier at 0.7 g and holds 11.2 mg of nicotine per pouch, against 9.6 mg in the 0.6 g X-Strong pouch.
Is XQS tobacco free?
Yes. XQS pouches contain nicotine, plant fibre and flavouring, with no tobacco leaf.
How many pouches are in an XQS can?
Twenty, in every flavour and both strengths.
Does XQS make a mini pouch?
One. Cool Ice Mini is the only mini-format can in the range. Everything else is slim.
